Miletta's Brindie

Bella Luna's Sept '07 litter.

Hi There,

Sorry I haven't written you before this, but I wanted Brindie to get use to her new home.  She's doing great, adjusting well, spoiled rotten.  She even sleeps with me and Gabby at night. The first week was challenging, but she listens well and is very very smart.  When she has a accident on the floor -  she runs and hides  - she's only had 2 accidents because I put a bell on the door and she rings it when she needs to potty and I noticed yesterday that she knows how to open the front door  ( She can't really reach it now, but she was trying to get her teeth around the handle).  Gabby loves her to death and vise versa, every step Gabby walks, Brindie is right there  - even when Gabby is taking a bath, Brindie either sits by the tub or has her paws on the side of it. Thank you so much for such a beautiful gift  - she's worth a million, just to see Gabby laugh and play with her.  Gabby insist that she's the mom and Brindie is the baby.  So again, THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS. I'll try and send pictures in a couple of weeks.

Miletta's Bellona Valentina

I just wanted everyone to know that I bought a black brindle (female) from this breeder (Milettas Cane Corsos) and she is Awesome. I was considering a Great Dane because I wanted a large dog to run with me beside my horse that would keep coyotes at bay. (I live in the desert) I had my puppy picked out and everything already. And then saw these incredible dogs!!!!! I did a lot of research and knew that the Corso was the dog I was looking for, even the Great Dane Breeder agreed with me. Her exact words were "I can't guarantee that a coyote wont get past a Dane, But I CAN guarantee a coyote wont get past a Corso" When I picked up my baby , Miletta's Bellona Valentina, It was love at first sight. She is almost 5 months now and has surpass my expectations of her Intelligence and physical abilities. She is great with my horses, llama, cow, donkey, cat, goats, and my daughters chihuahuas. As for her breeding- I took her pedigree and researched it all. And it makes perfect since why she is sooo perfect...lol. Her bloodlines are made up of champions and mothers and fathers of champions. Her parents are statuesque . They are stunning to look at and have great dispositions. I am impressed by how well the dogs of this breeder are taken care of and how well mannered they are. The pictures on their website and myspace DO NOT DO THESE DOGS JUSTICE BY ANY MEANS!! THANK YOU SO MUCH ASHLEY AND ALEX.

Just my opinion, thanks for reading.

Hey Ashley.....I know it has been quite some time.  But finally pics.
I couldn't be more happy with Jersey.  She has turned out to be our BABY!  She has become the best dog ever.  I have owned many breeds and have done well with training in the past.  But nothing compares to Jersey's intelligence, dedication.  I have never seen a pup with the attention span like her's.  She has quite a vocabulary.  Her loyalty to ALL the neighbor kids is crazy.  She doesn't care for strangers...takes her a bit- but the kid's are her's.  She shadows our 4 year old no matter what unless told not to.

And I think you were right.....she turned out to be looker.  Even now.....we get mobbed everywhere we go.  Everyone wants to know what she is and can't get over how stunning she is.

We have actually been flagged down in the truck by random people.
The job your vet (Dr. Arn) did on her ears-  WOW.
She also shares a house with 1 cat and 2 hampsters.....so far she knows the cat is the boss, but sometimes she can't resist and finds herself in trouble.  She wants to play.....cat just won't have it, yet he baits her with his tail flicking in her face.
Now the hamsters have been alot of fun.  Only one incident where:  I looked down at hamster on floor.  Turned my head then no hamster, just the dog.  She spit him out promptly when I said "drop it" !  He's perfect.....yet she's just waiting to play fetch with them.  Hamsters being the ball!
Thanks
The Kiewels!

Believe it or not we are now in the midst of having her Guardian trained to control her aggresion- which is doing well.  It wasn't a problem until we had exposode happen that scared the wits out of me over Christmas.We live close to Jackson which is crime ridden.  I was comming out of a store one night which I had parked right out front of and I had a guy grab my purse.....The dog came thru the passanger door window at him.  WOW.....but hey I still have my purse.  That was excellent, but now she has become overly protective and thinks everyone is out to hurt me.But the training has really been good for controlling it.Thanks

Dear  Miletta  Family ;
     Ciao como e tutto?  Sorry it has taken so long for us to correspond. Enzo is continuing to bring us all love and joy everyday. After arriving home he got along well with Buddha{our pittbull}and seemed to love my two daughters Lucia and Sarafina as much as they love him. He started  puppy socialization classes as soon as it was safe. After 2 sessions the trainer suggested some one on one training might be  beneficial. I cannot tell you how helpful that has been, his self confidence has grown almost as much and fast as he has. At first he would not go near water except to watch and make sure I am okay in the shower! He would never play with other dogs at the park and only walk by my side. But now our 90lb athlete lives for the time of day when we go to the Bay and he swims out as far as we can throw his ball. After swimming for 1 or 2 hours I pack him up and we go to another dog park where he gets hosed off and dries off while herding other dogs. He seems to like to chase and be chased by yes the Pugs! HE IS SO GENTLE. The training obviously never  ends it seems to be two sided. Some of his favorite things to chew are strings, it doesn't matter if it is an apron,shoe,or recently a computer cord! We waited to have him neutered at the advise of our trainer so as you can imagine he thinks he is Casanova! One of the funniest things he does is when he mounts the large grey exercize ball and thinks it is his lover!Enzo Salvatore is a gift  that keeps us grounded and gives us unconditional love. THANKS A MILLION.
